Thank you for welcoming us into your community! We are so excited to announce we are bringing fiber internet to your home and business.
Today’s households have more internet-connected devices than ever before, and we are here to serve your technology and connectivity needs. At BVT, we are committed to paving the way for our customers to have access to the world while enjoying the quality of life found only in our rural communities.
We are going to be updating this page with all the details of where we're at in your town and when we are coming to you. If you already know you are interested in internet service and would like to get on our list, please fill out the web form here.
JAN. 19: Our technical team is diligently working through our installation list. To get on the schedule, give us a call at 877.876.1228 or shoot us a message here on the website through our chatbot.
We are waiting to get supplies from our vendors to get started on Phase II of this project (South, East and West sides of town). Hoping to get equipment in the coming months so we can light up more of Blue Rapids with fiber!
JAN. 13: We are officially getting Blue Rapids customers hooked up on the new fiber this week! Call in to get more information on services available and to get on the installation schedule.
Once we get started on Phase II of the Blue Rapids project we will post more available "office hour" dates. You do NOT need an appointment at office hours in order to sign up - simply give us a call or message us through our website.
JAN. 6: The fire station is operational on the new fiber optic infrastructure! Folks that have already signed up for service should start expecting calls this week to get on the installation schedule.
DEC. 30: We were able to run drops to the fire station and police department, but due to weather they are not operational as of yet. We are also waiting on the arrival of some equipment, but we plan to start reaching out to customers that have signed up next week to schedule installations!
We will have "office hours" again this afternoon in the community center from Noon - 4pm.

DEC. 23: All of the cabling has now been installed on the North side of town! The equipment in our central office has been successfully installed, tested, and is operational. Once we get the Blue Rapids fire station up and operational next week, we will start reaching out to customers that have signed up to schedule installations!
Our next "office hours" at the Blue Rapids Community Center will be on Dec. 30th from Noon - 4pm. You can check out our broadband plans and other offerings here.

DEC. 15: You will see KC Cable around Blue Rapids getting more fiber placed on the northern part of town this week! BVT technicians will also be working with an AdTran engineer to turn up equipment in our central office building (located behind the Blue Rapids fire station). Once these items are completed, we will be closer to scheduling installations!
On December 16th, we will have a customer service representative available by appointment at the Community Center from Noon - 4pm. DEC. 9: We will be able to service the North part of town first! If your home or business is part of this first phase, you will be receiving a packet of information next week on our plans, speeds, pricing, FAQ's.
We are going to have a Blue Valley representative in the Blue Rapids Community Center on December 16 and 30 from Noon - 4 p.m. If you would like to make an appointment to talk to the representative, please choose your appointment time here.
