Zach Heinen, son of Doug and Linda Heinen, Axtell was awarded a Telephony Scholarship from Blue Valley Tele-Communications/Networks Plus in the amount of $500. The Telephony Scholarship is awarded to students planning to enroll or who are currently enrolled in one of the two telephony-based programs in Kansas. Heinen is currently a student at North Central Kansas Technical College in Beloit studying telecommunications and networking.
