BVTC Contest Underway

Support the BVTC Giving Tree program and be entered for a chance to win!

Home, Kan. Dec. 5, 2016 – Blue Valley Tele-Communications (BVTC) is now accepting donations of canned goods and other nonperishable food items, as well as household and cleaning supplies in exchange for a chance to win $100 credit on your BVTC bill. The contest is open now through 4:30 on December 12. The winner will be drawn on Tuesday morning, Dec. 13 with the credit applied to the January 1 bill.

All donations will be used for the BVTC Giving Tree program, now in its 21st year. Questions about the contest can be directed to Jada Ackerman or Emily Ford.

Contest Rules

Each year BVTC teams up with the local communities to provide gifts to local families who are less fortunate, through the BVTC Giving Tree project. This year, we’d like to offer you a chance to win $100 credit on you BVTC bill or store purchase while helping us help more families. From Monday, Dec. 05, through 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, we will issue tickets to be placed into a drawing for each of the following items listed below. The drawing will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at the BVTC office in Home, Kan. The winner will be contacted and public notified via social media and press release on the BVTC website at http://bluevalley.net/news/recent-news. All items will be donated to families’ whose cards were not adopted.

Donations may be brought in to the BVTC office during office hours or given to an authorized BVTC employee. Tickets must be completely filled out at the time of delivery. Questions may be directed to 877-876-1228.

The $100 credit will be automatically applied toward the January 1, 2017 bill or if the winner is not a BVTC customer, will be issued in the form of a store credit for the purchase of product or service. The credit cannot be used as a security deposit or redeemed for cash. 

1 Ticket will be given for the following:

  • 5 cans of food (vegetables, soup, canned meats, etc.)
  • 2 boxes or jars of food (mac-n-cheese, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly, etc.)

3 Tickets will be given for the following:

  • Disinfectant Wipes (Clorox Wipes, Lysol Wipes, etc.)
  • Disinfectant (Clorox, Lysol, etc.)
  • Spray or liquid Cleaner (this includes products such as dish soap, 409, Pledge, etc.)
  • Every 4 rolls of toilet paper
  • Every 4 rolls of paper towels

5 Tickets will be given for the following:

  • Laundry detergent
  • Dryer Sheets
  • Personal care items (Deodorant, shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, etc.)
